A recent render leak of the Xiaomi 13 has showed what the device will look like.
According to recent renders by Onleaks and CompareDial, the upcoming device from Chinese manufacturer, the Xiaomi 13, will feature a flat display and a flat sides, and will be in a different design direction.
The design direction is similar to the recent iPhone designs, which is currently in vogue. The device’s front has a flat surface and minimal bezel, while the camera is placed at the top.
However, unlike the iPhones, the back glass has a slightly curved edge, which should make it easier to hold. The sides of the device have also been flattened, creating a somewhat slab-like appearance.
At the top edge of the device are four dots with two of them appearing to be a microphone and the others and IR blaster. On the opposite side of the device, you will find the SIM slot, a USB type C port, a microphone and the speaker. The right side of the Xiaomi 13 features a power button and a volume rocker. Their left edges are barren.
The Xiaomi 13’s camera island has also been updated, with a large square shape and three of the four corners having lenses.
The device will measure 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm, and it will have a camera bump of 10.3mm. The device will reportedly have a 6.2-inch display which will put it in the compact flagship phone category. It’s rumored to be running the latest generation of the chipset, known as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
We expect the Xiaomi 13 to make its way into the market later this month and it is believed that after the launch of the Xiaomi 13 and its pro version, Xiaomi will shift attention to the Xiaomi Redmi K60 series.
